"When the ancient Romans during the imperial age planted their vineyards in this Agro di Aquileia - about two thousand years ago - they must have already guessed that unique and unrepeatable wines could be produced from these lands."

We are located in the heart of the Doc Aquileia and we represent the most important vineyard extension in Northern Italy; this was the first wine-growing reality acquired in 1970 outside Veneto by our family: the Zonin; we have brought it back to its maximum glory, making it one of the most precious gems of Friulian viticulture.

In the territory of Aquileia the microclimatic balance is perfect: the temperate breezes of the nearby Adriatic sea mitigate the hot summers, the heat of the sun allows excellent ripening of the bunches and the strong drop in temperature during the night enhances the primary aromas of the grapes, giving the wines with an intense personality.

The area in which we find ourselves is part of an area particularly favorable for the production of quality wine, which falls within the so-called "Alpha" climatic zone where the thermal summations that are found, correspond to those of other famous European wine-growing areas.
