How wonderful would it be to enjoy wine that’s not only good for you, but kind to the earth too? That’s
exactly what lies at the heart of Ferrin Wines.
In the 90s, unlike many other wineries at the time, Ferrin’s passion was not only rooted in his enological
expertise to produce excellent wine but also in eco-sustainable production which meant a massive
reduction in pesticide use.
Producing a truly eco-friendly wine is a daily task that means constantly maintaining, improving and
upgrading renewable energy sources.
Located in an area with natural spring water – a very precious commodity – both vineyard and cantina
operate using only intelligent water consumption and have recently installed a closed circuit for cooling the
barrels
to minimize waste.
To complete your visit you’ll taste the very fruit of their labour! Fabiola will guide you through a delectable
tasting of Ferrin’s wines
accompanied by locally sourced cured meats and organic Friulian produced
cheeses
