Passionate about art, cultural heritage and wine, my goal as a hostess is to make you feel at home.

As the Perusini winey owner and president of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Historic Houses Association, I promoted the creation of an architectural jewel - prototype in the field of research: La Torre Cantina. A cellar designed by the architect Augusto Romano Burell which has been later on decorated by several contemporary artists. This represents an elegant and essential technologically complete model, which integrates perfectly with the landscape. Looking up from the decorated cellar floor to the roof, the tower looks much higher than it is. Hanging from the Zenith of the roof swings a large sphere. A clock is engraved on the floor on which it oscillates, indicating the rotation of the earth during the slow swing of the pendulum.
 
The Perusini winery is among the 50 companies registered by the famous winemaker Luigi Veronelli in the Gotha of the 50 historic companies in Italy. Existing already in the eighteenth century, in the nineteenth century, however, it was distinguished by the research and protection of the historic Friulian vines, when the fashion of French vines after the phylloxera still prevailed.
Picolit, an autochthonous vine of Friuli, known all over the world for the splendid passito that is made with its grapes, risked disappearing during the phylloxera, which hit Friuli in 1888. Giacomo Perusini and his son Gaetano planted 2,000 stumps, effectively saving the vine and becoming the first architects of its rebirth, starting in the 1960s, when we began to think about the recovery of native vines.

As Giacomo's grandson, I continue the family tradition in the Corno di Rosazzo estate with the help of my husband and our children Carlo, Tommaso and Michele.
