A tasting from the heart of nobility – Attimis-Maniago Winery
IN THE HEART OF THE COLLI ORIENTALI ELEGANT WINES AND A HISTORICAL WINERY AWAIT YOU
It was 15th February 1585 when the noble Attimis-Maniago family was given the Buttrio winery as a dowry for marriage. In fact, current owner Count Alberto d’Attimis-Maniago often says “400 years and the love for our vineyards is still going strong”.
An Attimis-Maniago family member will be your personal guide around the estate and winery all set in the stunning Colli Orientali. Beginning in the Friulano vineyards, you will be shown the full wine production process including a visit to the ancient cellar which goes back to the 1500s and is still in use to this very day.
At the end of your tour you will be guided through a tasting of 4 selected wines all thoughtfully paired with delicious bites of locally cured meats and sumptuous local cheeses!
The price includes
- Guided winery visit by an Attimis-Maniago family member. Visit includes a full tour of the wine production process from the vines to the final bottled and labelled product.
- Guided tour of the 500 year old underground cellar still in use and the family chapel with an Attimis-Maniago family member
- Welcome glass of sparkling white plus guided tasting of 4 selected wines paired with locally cured meats and cheeses accompanied by an Attimis-Maniago family member
