TASTE THE LAND AND HISTORY ON THE GRAND ESTATE OF THE COUNT OF MANIAGO
Palazzo d'Attimis-Maniago overlooking both the piazza of Maniago and the English parkland with its 6 hectares, is part of the slopes of Mount Jof and was for centuries the residence of the lords of Maniago, before the family d'Attimis-Maniago moved to Buttrio and to the winery of the same name.
Dating back to the fifteenth century, the “palazzo” was completely restored by Fabio I of Maniago who, for his wedding in 1739, had the halls embellished with precious stuccos and built the Italian garden that is also part of the English parkland.
Today this Italian palazzo, home to 500 year old nobility, opens its doors, its history and its secrets to visitors. Admire its fabulous stucco walls, Italian garden and majestic parkland with its rare trees.
After your winery tour, take a seat in the eighteenth-century halls as you taste 4 of the Conte d’Attimis-Maniago wines, each paired with a selection of locally produced delicacies such as cured meats and cheeses.
