With a study background in New York and activities in Austria and Germany, today I deal with the great estate of 1700, one of the oldest wineries in Friuli Venezia Giulia

Tenuta di Blasig was founded in 1788 by Domenico Blasig, and for 7 generations the Blasig family has been passionately dedicated to identifying and increasingly enhancing the vines that best express the characteristics of the territory.

Many illustrious people have passed through here. First of all Gabriele D’Annunzio who arrived in Ronchi dei Legionari in 1919 and was hosted in the home of the mayor Alessandro Blasig, making it the first headquarters in Rijeka. It was from Villa Blasig, that the poet-commander, on 12 September 1919, left for Rijeka, giving rise to that important historical event which was later called the Enterprise of Rijeka.

In 1989 my mother Helga passed me the leadeship and with it the responsibility to pursue the objectives that have always been the pillars of our production philosophy: to preserve the typicality of the native vines and to work scrupulously in the vineyard to obtain high quality products and as maximum as possible natural, doing a totally manual harvest. Among the most representative whites we have Istrian Malvasia, Friulano, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay. Among the reds instead the Refosco dal peduncolo rosso, Merlot and Cabernet.
